My Story: I founded this company after my own crazy cancer story. In March 2022, I was driving from Illinois to Texas with all my belongings to begin a new chapter in life in a new city when my doctor called to tell me I had nasopharyngeal carcinoma. I hadn’t even arrived at my destination, had just left my entire support group behind, and was moving to a city where I knew no one. I never felt so alone. Tests, scans, and treatment started a month after arriving. Despite not losing much hair during treatment, I felt just as sick as others with cancer. Anytime I went to a store, I wondered how many others in there were going through the same misery and loneliness as me. I would imagine how great it would be if all of us cancer people, regardless of our type of cancer, could somehow support each other. That’s how I got the idea for this company.
