Nepal Tour 2024

The first part of this trip is a trek through the Annapurna Sanctuary of Nepal, West of Kathmandu. The second half of the trip is a visit to a Tharu village in the Dang Valley of Western Nepal. This is all-inclusive, with the exception of in-country airfare and one dinner in Kathmandu. Nepal is a Himalayan Kingdom, famous for being home of 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world. It is home of the Gurkha soldiers, as well. Few know that about one third of all the land in Nepal is part of the Ganges River basin, where tropic conditions dominate everyday life. Far from Kathmandu exists the Dang Valley, where the Tharu people of the Dang Valley are one of those groups.
